About

Study Overview

The Second Chance @ The Library Research Study aims to investigate the services and programs provided by public library staff in Michigan that may support the reentry information needs and practices of formerly incarcerated people. We aim to identify the training needs of public library staff who would like to better serve returning citizens in their communities. A state-wide reentry planning guide and training tool-kit will be collaboratively designed by public library staff and returning citizens living in Michigan.
